Rugged and functional customised vehicles will be on display at the annual agricultural extravaganza at Mystery Creek, fitted with a variety of accessories from the extensive Toyota range.

Five customised Toyota Hilux, along with a Land Cruiser 70, a Land Cruiser 200 and a Hiace will be showcasing a range of Toyota Genuine, T Custom, Toyota Racing Development (TRD) and Toyota Associated Suppliers accessories.

“Fieldays gives us a great chance to mix up both functional and extreme customisation and visitors will be able to see the huge range of Toyota accessories that are available for their favourite vehicles”, said Andrew Davis, Toyota New Zealand’s General Manager of Marketing & Customer.

“We can customise and accessorise the vehicle to the buyer’s individual taste all at your local Toyota store.”

“We have also made sure that all of our customised concepts are available to purchase and can be applied to customer’s vehicles exactly as they are showcased.”

Major items available include a constant load suspension upgrade for the Hilux, alternative wheel and tyre packages, alloy steel trays for cab chassis models, side steps, nudge bars, side bars, tow bars, deck liners, tonneau cover, canopies, roof racks, extra lighting, TRD (Toyota Racing Development) parts and decals in a variety of colour combinations.

If serious off-road, bush bashing is your thing Toyota has all the bases covered.

There are snorkels to keep the engine breathing while crossing rivers, bull bars, winches, sump guard bash plates and body protection for the headlights, bonnet, tail lights, body mouldings and wheel arch flares.

The Hiace on display is a “tradie” concept with custom wooden flooring, alloy shelving and drawers, a roof rack with sliding extension ladder and beacons. There are also optional wheels and tyres.

Fieldays opens to the public today and continues until Saturday 16 June.
