Toyota Avensis – Driver’s Airbag
Toyota New Zealand is recalling 1282 vehicles due to a potential issue affecting the driver’s airbag on certain Avensis vehicles, manufactured between September 2003 and February 2006.
This is a precautionary measure to replace the driver’s side airbag.
The replacement of the driver’s side airbag will be completed free of charge by Toyota stores. This work will take approximately 1.0 hours to complete.
Owners of the vehicles, which are traceable through registration data, will be contacted by Toyota New Zealand by letter.
