Toyota Land Cruiser 300 and Lexus LX 500d – Automatic Transmission ECU
Toyota New Zealand is recalling 1,325 vehicles due to a potential issue affecting the automatic transmission on certain Toyota Land Cruiser 300 and Lexus LX 500d vehicles, manufactured between July 2021 and January 2024.
This is a precautionary measure to update the automatic transmission ECU software. This will be completed free of charge by Toyota stores and will take approximately 1 hour to complete.
Owners of the vehicles, which are traceable through registration data, will be contacted by Toyota New Zealand by letter.
