Scotty has worked on and off through most departments within his family business and enjoys working with such a strong brand that has a great reputation for quality. It aligns well with his direction for the company in providing exceptional and personalised service to our customers. He especially enjoys living and working in Marlborough with all the region has to offer in the outdoors.
Cory Rowden

Cory joins us from Tauranga where he was General Manager of a multi-franchise dealer group for 6 years. Prior to that Cory spent 8 years operating a motorcycle and 4WD tour business in Bolivia, South America. He is passionate about customer experience and is looking forward to working with NZ’s No.1 automotive brand. Cory will be making the most of the balance of work and lifestyle this region has to offer – in particular dirt bikes and 4x4.

Colin has been in sales at Blenheim Toyota for 16 years. In that time he has developed a large and loyal customer base by offering friendly assistance, with good follow-up and after sales service. He likes getting to know his customers and having some fun while helping them get satisfaction and enjoyment from purchasing their vehicle.

I have been in the Automotive industry since 2004 and moved to beautiful Marlborough in 2018. In our down time Jo and I love spending time out on the water fishing or picnics on a beach with our 2 Pugs. We also venture back to Christchurch on a regular basis to visit family.

James is a familiar face to many in Blenheim, having had previous sales roles in well-known business in Marlborough. He is passionate about customer engagement and is proud to be representing the most trusted vehicle brand in New Zealand. James spends his leisure time, socialising with his family and friends, fishing and spending time in the Marlborough Sounds and he is extra keen on anything sports related.

Tim has been in the Motor Industry since 2001 and has been with Blenheim Toyota since 2006. In his time here he has gone from an Apprentice technician to the Service & Parts Manager. In his spare time, he loves Adventuring in the outdoors with his kids and trail running in the hills and mountains.

I arrived in New Zealand on my own in October 2023 from the UK and after 3 months travelling have decided to settle here in Blenheim. I’m enjoying every moment in this beautiful country and have met some amazing people so far. I have been a Service Advisor for the past 5 years in car dealerships and Bodyshop centres. I enjoy the outdoors, hiking especially, as well as the gym and socialising with others.

Originating from central London, Dave moved to Blenheim as a young child. He has a long history with Toyota having worked at a dealership in Hawkes Bay and then for Blenheim Toyota for over nine and a half years. He took a short break in service 2019/20 before returning to the team at Blenheim Toyota. Dave enjoys spending his free time with his family and friends.

Aristotle, or Aris as he is known to his colleagues and friends, hails from the Philippines. A desire to experience life in different countries, saw him moving first to the UAE and then to New Zealand. Aris enjoys spending his free time playing basketball, fishing and doing outdoors activities with his wife and four kids.

I joined BCR in late ‘23, with 10 years experience in the painting and surface finishing trade, spanning from high-end prototype finishing to defence fixed wing and helicopters. In my leisure time, I enjoy restoring cars, watching motorsports, playing the drums in various bands around the Tasman area or a bit of gaming.

She has many years’ experience within the transport and automotive industry before joining Blenheim Toyota in their Finance team in 2016. When not shopping for shoes, handbags and watches, Michelle likes to spend time eating out at local restaurants & spending time with her family and friends.
Andy Wilson
Group General Manager for Used Vehicles
Andy has a tremendous amount of experience in the Motor Industry beginning in the summer of 1990! After relinquishing the reigns of Branch Manager at South Canterbury Toyota in August 2018 he has taken on the well-deserved challenge of Group General Manager for Used Vehicles for the McDermid Group. This entails managing the used vehicle inventory for Blenheim, Rangiora, Kaiapoi, Ashburton and Timaru branches. Andy and his wife Helen have a very full social life which includes spending a great deal of time with their four grandchildren.
Talei Dickson
McDermid Group Admin Manager
Originally from a hospitality background Talei moved to South Canterbury in 1996 from Wellington. She had a brief stint at Lake Tekapo before joining our team as our Business Manager. She then moved into admin in 2004. In 2015 Talei became our Group Admin Manager when Rangiora & Ashburton Toyota joined our group of South Canterbury & Blenheim Toyota. In her spare time Talei doesn’t enjoy running but Chris Ward & Sharon Wood make her do it from time to time. She does enjoy water and snow skiing, sewing and spending time with her daughter.

Chris was born and raised in Timaru before heading on a rather extended (12 year) OE. After seeing most of the “other side of the world” Chris returned to Timaru in 2006 and joined our team 3 days later! Chris’s background before joining South Canterbury Toyota was mainly in the banking sector. She enjoys skiing, running, cycling, travelling overseas and spending time with her daughters.

Paul has been in the Motor Industry since 2003 and comes from a background in Finance. Living in Kaiapoi, he and his family enjoy Waimak Football, camping, boating and the outdoors. Classics cars are also a time consuming and expensive passion.

Born and bred in Ashburton, Samantha started with us in 2015 as a member of the Ashburton admin department. Samantha took a couple of years to start her own wee family but remained a familiar face as over the years she has covered for staff on annual and parental leave. In her spare time, she likes to go hunting and explore new places with her family.

Sarah was in the motor industry since 2014 as a Qualified Refinisher who then became a fulltime mother for 2years before joining us in January 2023. Sarah’s family consists of 2 kids, 2 dogs and her partner Gowan. She enjoys hosting events for friends and family, getting the family out for walks and their yearly camping trip to muscle car madness!

My wife Kathie and I took ownership of Blenheim Toyota in 1990. Over the years I have taken ownership of South Canterbury Toyota, Rangiora Toyota, Kaiapoi Toyota and Ashburton Toyota. I split my time between them all, just as well I enjoy driving!
