Let’s go places in flying cars with zero emissions, on hoverboards, space buggies for moons and planets… Who knows what the future of mobility will look like? So, Toyota is inviting children across New Zealand to share their wildest and most imaginative car design for the 18th annual Dream Car Art Contest.

What would the best car in the world look like?

Will it drive on a road, or will it hover for the smoothest ride possible? Maybe it helps the environment by picking up any rubbish it drives over and then converting it into fuel. We are looking for imaginative ways people will go places in the future.

Our judges want you to think about how your dream car could help people or the environment using all the latest gizmos and gadgets and maybe some that haven’t even been invented yet!

What do I have to do?

To embrace the possibilities of the future, we may need to go to places unknown. So dream up the coolest and most amazing car that you can think of and then draw or paint it on paper or a digital device.

Make sure your picture has a colourful background so we can imagine what it would look like on the road, or in the sky, or even underground…

What can you win?

Not only bragging rights to your friends and family with your amazing Dream Car artwork, but each category winner will receive a $500 Prezzy card*

Why not get your local School involved, with the School with the most entries will win a $1000 Prezzy card. How great is that!

We also have some great spot prizes that we will give away throughout the Dream Car contest, so don’t forget to check your emails to see if you are a lucky spot prize winner.

You must live in New Zealand and fit into one of these three age categories at the time of entry:
