Fraser Hart
CEO
Starting out as a Used Vehicle Consultant in 2003, Fraser has grown through the business, to General Manager of Sales and on to Group General Manager in 2023. In 2024, Fraser stepped into the CEO role. A proud father of Tommy and Millar, he loves to soak up time with his family. Fraser continues to fuel his passion for Kartsport, racing himself while also providing unwavering support to the Manawatu Kartsport community.
Uwynn Carter
Vehicle Manager
Born in central King Country and raised on drystock farms, Uwynn spent the majority of his working life in agriculture and sales before joining our Whanganui team in late 2017. He is into motorsports, especially Enduro off-roading and dirt biking.
Dylan Hanson
Vehicle Consultant
Originally from South Africa, Dylan made the move to New Zealand in 2020. He started out in Palmerston North, and worked as a plumber before moving to Feilding and joining our team in 2023. Dylan is into all types of cars, from 4x4 to drifting, and drives a V8. Outside of work, you'll find him working out at the gym and keeping fit.
Tim Cloake
Vehicle Consultant
Tim was a service advisor five years before joining the team in 2023! He is a carpenter by trade and has a few building projects, including some renovations to his house! The change of career was driven by his passion for the Toyota brand. His favourite place to travel is Indonesia, but he also enjoys discovering new parts of the world. Family is an important part of his life, and he wouldn't call any other place home but Whanganui!
David Gibson
Fleet Consultant
David has been happily married for 43 years. He enjoys fishing, travelling and spending time with his family, friends and grandchildren.
Garry Sandhu
Fleet Consultant
Coming from a sales and management background, Garry moved to Palmy and joined our team in early 2024. He has been working in sales since 2006, and brings with him heaps of experience in the fleet and finance space. Outside of work, Garry likes to keep active; he used to do track and now loves training and kayaking with his wife, and keeping up with their three kids' activities.
Daniel David
Service Manager
In 2021, Daniel joined our Palmy team after 12 years in the motor industry as a Technician and Service Advisor. He hails from Wellington but moved to the Manawatu-Whanganui region in 2013 and loved it so much he settled here. In 2024, Daniel moved into the Service Manager role at our Whanganui store. In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with his daughter, upgrading his monster truck or competing in speedway events.
Tavia Goddard
Service and Parts Advisor - Raetihi
Waimarino born and raised, Tavia grew up around vehicles with her parents owning an automotive workshop in Ohakune, and was drawn back to the industry in 2019 when she joined our Raetihi workshop. When she's not running the Raetihi office, she's chilling out at home with her three farm dogs, cat and sheep!
Danica Watson
Service Advisor
Danica moved to Whanganui from Hastings and joined our Service team in 2021, making great use of her background in busy kitchen environments as well as her hobby of working on cars! She has a household full of animals, and enjoys relaxing at the beach or going running in her spare time.
Bex Perry
Service Advisor
Bex grew up on a farm in Hunterville, and moved to Waitotara in 2023. Bringing with her a background in hospitality, she joined our frontline service team in 2024. When she's not at work, you'll find Bex out making the most of the great outdoors no matter the season - she loves fishing, hunting and skiing!
Mark Morga
Service Foreman
Mark was offered a position with Whanganui Toyota when he visited New Zealand in 2016 and never looked back. He obtained a diploma in automotive technology and was a qualified Lexus Technician in the Philippines. He has also completed the level 5 Automotive technology qualification in New Zealand. Although Mark doesn’t have family in New Zealand, he’s treated like a son by our service manager and has a close relationship with the Whanganui team. He spends most of his spare time with Shane’s family and with the boys, either in the garage or out on their motorbikes.
Daniel Norris
Technician - Raetihi
Originally from Hamilton, Daniel joined our Raetihi team in 2022. Having nurtured an interest in all sorts of vehicles since he was young, Daniel completed his automotive training and apprenticeship in Hamilton before moving to Raetihi in 2019. When he's not in the workshop, you'll find him out in the wilderness, exploring and hunting.
David Dickson
Technician
David has always lived in Whanganui but spent 6 years overseas for a change before joining us in 2021. David has always been a sports lover. He did soccer, rowing and cycling. Now, he is trying out boxing at Whanganui corporate boxing events!
Mike Punzalan
Technician
Originally from the Philippines, Mike joined the team only three days after arriving in New Zealand. Mike has a wealth of vehicle knowledge from working as the head diagnostic technician for luxury car brands and as a European vehicle specialist in the Philippines, Middle East, and Australia! Mike has worked with our service foreman, Mark, in the Philippines, where he was the foreman and Mark was just a trainee!
Mark Calma
Technician
Originally from the Philippines, Mark worked in Saudi Arabia for two years and Dubai for seven years before moving to New Zealand and joining our team in early 2024. He is loving New Zealand life so far, and enjoys working on his own cars and spending time with his family.
Stuart White
Tyre Technician and Accessory Fitter
Born in Hamilton, Stuart grew up in Mangakino on the banks of the Waikato river before moving to Whanganui when he was in his teens. He joined our team in early 2022, bringing with him 22 years of experience in the tyre industry. Building cars in his free time brought him into the automotive industry, but prior to this he spent 13 years in forestry. In his spare time, Stuart still enjoys getting out in the bush, hunting or taking photos
Jakob Gedye
Apprentice Technician
Whanganui born and raised; Jakob joined our team in 2022 after finishing high school in 2021. After spending a couple of years working during his study, Jakob was drawn to the automotive industry. In his spare time, he enjoys working on his project car and riding his motorbike.
Byron Griffin-Chappel
Apprentice Technician - Raetihi
Byron started his journey with Toyota through a school gateway program, earning his Level 3 certification in Mechanics in Wellington. In 2022, he proudly joined the Ruapehu Toyota team as an Apprentice Tech. In his free time, you'll find Byron and his family out 4x4 driving in his Hilux, or traveling around and making memories with his friends!
Lovemore Hungwe
Apprentice Technician
Born in Zimbabwe, Lovemore moved to Whanganui in 2008 with his wife. He had his first child in 2021 when he joined Toyota. In his spare time, he enjoys relaxing with his family, watching a good TV show and working on his own car.
Zion Taiaroa
Apprentice Technician
Originally from Raetihi, Zion moved to Whanganui in his early 20s and has been here ever since. He started out in construction and worked his way up in the industry, while also doing some renovations on the side. Looking for a new challenge, and having always been into cars, Zion joined our team in early 2024. Outside of the workshop, you'll find him out hunting and fishing, or supporting his daughter at her regional darts competitions!
Kreed Williams
Apprentice Technician
Kreed was born in Tauranga and spent his early years in the South Island before moving up to Whanganui. He joined our team as an apprentice tech in early 2024, following his passion for working on his own cars. Outside of the workshop, you'll find him building computers, spending time outdoors or at the skatepark, and hanging out with his family.
Nicky Aue
Vehicle Groomer
Nikki started as a cleaner in 2021 and moved onto vehicle grooming in 2023. She loves working amongst the crew! Nikki plays darts and teaches Cook Island dance. She is also on the committee of Castlecliff Club so she is always kept busy on her days off.
Connor Howett
Vehicle Groomer
Originally from Whangarei, Conner joined the team in 2023. After graduating from Otago University, Conner moved to Whanganui for a more easy-going lifestyle. He enjoys playing golf and soccer and hanging out with friends in his free time.
Harvey Hughes
Vehicle Groomer
Born and raised in Whanganui, Harvey spent some time working in Wellington before moving back to his hometown and joining our team in early 2024. Visiting family in the UK sparked his passion for travel, and Harvey is keen to get back overseas and explore some more of Europe. In his free time, he does work on his property, plays the drums and also practices jiu-jitsu!
Jarred Steele
Parts Manager
Jarred has a MITO qualification in parts and accessories. When Jarred joined us, he already came with a wealth of knowledge from working at BNT automotive, Holden parts department and Kia’s parts department. You’ll see him riding his Harley Davidson or hitting the beach in his V8 Land Cruiser with his four girls!
Duane Voyce
Parts Advisor
Starting out his career in the kitchen, Duane was a qualified chef for ten years before moving into the automotive industry. After a stint at the Toyota New Zealand parts distribution centre, he moved to Australia where he worked in underground mining for 13 years. On his return to New Zealand, Duane rejoined the parts world, and became part of our team in 2024. Outside of work, he enjoys speedway and motorsports, and kicking back to some good tunes.
Brendon Hart
Branch Manager
Brendon has worked in vehicle sales from a young age, both here in the Manawatu and then in Wellington before returning to Palmerston North when he and Debbie purchased the dealership in 2004. He loves motor sport of all kinds, still racing karts himself - trying to get spotted by one of the formula one teams we think? Brendon also enjoys playing soccer.
Kylie Nott
Administration Manager
Kylie is Whanganui Born and Bred but lived her High School years in Tauranga. She joined us in 2018 after completing her degree in Business Management and Diploma in accounting. On the weekends, she is kept busy with her two teenagers.
Carol Carrick
Receptionist
Carol is an iconic member of the Whanganui team. She reached her 30 years anniversary in 2023! In her spare time, she is out with her grandchildren taking them to their sports and she enjoys riding her bicycle.
Amiria Aue-Kiriona
Cleaner
A creative and talented person who keeps active in the community teaching Cook Island dance, singing and piano. Amiria is very passionate about performing and if you can't see her, you will hear you beautiful singing around the store! She has grown up in Whanganui and has never left as she can't seem to call any other place home.
Debbie Hart
Chief Operations Officer
Debbie has over 30 years’ history with Manawatu Toyota, having been here for 14 years before purchasing the company in 2004. When she’s not hard at work she can be seen out walking her dogs. She also loves getting on her bike and cycling around the Manawatu, or spending time out at the beach.

Matt Crosswell
Group Used Vehicle Buyer/Group Sales
Matt is a Palmy lad through and through - he attended Boys High, completed a Bachelor of Communications degree at Massey University, and worked at Toyota New Zealand for two years. He was part of our F&I team from 2018 - 2022, and re-joined us as Group Vehicle Buyer in early 2023. He's passionate about sport and he also enjoys hanging out with his friends, and doting on his beautiful family.
