With GAZOO Racing DNA, the GR86’s configuration benefits directly from international race tracks that translate onto urban streets and open roads for impeccable performance without negating passenger comfort or safety. Lateral bending has improved by approximately 60% and torsional rigidity enhancements sit around 50%. The front MacPherson strut and rear double-wishbone suspension coupled with the GR86’s low centre of gravity, lightweight stiff chassis, and exceptional balance makes for a fearless formula with adrenaline-inducing driving written all over it.

Injecting adrenaline through the GR86’s veins is the new - and larger - 2.4-litre horizontally opposed boxer four cylinder dual VVT-i engine.

Put energy into motion, stat, with an increased maximum power output of 174kW (27kW more than the outgoing model) and reach top speeds faster.
Good torque
GR86’s intoxicating driver response is heightened with peak torque arriving at a substantially lower 3,700rpm (previously 6,400pm). Achieve the 0-100km/hr sprint in just 6.8 seconds.
Sit back or bolt upright
Hit the road enveloped in ergonomically designed heated front seats with a perforated leather and Ultrasuede trim for a palpable recline. Leather accents extend to the steering wheel, shift knob and park brake lever, while stainless steel scuff plates and aluminium sports pedals maintain an athletic aesthetic.
A future classic
GR86 has been updated with a modernised matrix grille design, larger side rocker mouldings and a ducktail-type rear boot lip. There are 10-spoke matte black 18” alloy wheels with Michelin Pilot Sport 4 tyres for improved grip and performance. Plus, auto levelling bi-beam LED headlights with cleaners and steering response function, clearance lights, and daytime running lights for heightened visibility and head-turning ability.
