Power and Efficiency
Thanks to it’s Euro 5 four-cylinder 2.8-litre 1GD turbo diesel engine with Stop & Start function, the Hiace offers improved fuel economy and on-road performance across the range.
The Hiace ZX's highly efficient common-rail turbocharged engine and six-speed automatic transmission delivers 130 kilowatts of power, and 450 Newton metres of torque. The combined fuel consumption for the Hiace ZX is 9.6L/100km*.

Effective Load Space
Hiace ZX offers 9.3 cubic metres of cargo carrying capacity. The load floor length is 3,395mm, load width is 1,775mm and the load height is 1,610 mm.
The Hiace ZX will comfortably accommodate Australian, European and ISO max-sized pallets. The cargo area is also designed to allow the easy fitting of racking or other modification, and it provides six tie down points on the floor.
Easier Parking and Safer Manoeuvring
Each Hiace is fitted as standard with parking sensors in the front and rear bumpers, a Blind Spot Monitoring system, a reversing camera, and Rear Cross Traffic Alert which will alert the driver about oncoming traffic when trying to reverse the vehicle from a driveway or a building entrance.
Exclusive to the Hiace ZX is a supplementary mirror on the driver’s door which offers a wider field of view for changing lanes and reversing the vehicle into a parking space. The Hiace ZX is also equipped with power folding mirrors, to prevent possible damage when parking the vehicle in narrow streets or when manoeuvring in a building.
Creating a Safer Mobile Workplace
Toyota Safety Sense is fitted as standard across the Hiace range, and it features Pre-Collision System with Autonomous Emergency Braking, as well as vehicle, pedestrian, and bicycle detection functions. Lane Departure Alert with Yaw Assist will help the driver maintain lane discipline, while Road Sign Assist and Automatic High Beam will allow the driver to focus on the road ahead.
The Hiace ZX has a 7-airbag system including driver and passenger front airbags, seat side airbags, driver’s knee airbag, and front curtain shield airbags.
Built for the Job
Toyota offers a full range of Genuine Toyota Accessories, exclusively designed and engineered to integrate with the safety systems and maintain the structural integrity of your New Hiace.
Starting at the top is a three-bar heavy duty roof rack which is rated to 120kg across the three bars, and is compatible with a wide range of equipment and accessories.
Toyota has designed an accessory front nudge bar in a polished or black powder coat finish for the front bumper of New Hiace that is fully compatible with the front corner parking sensors.
A front cargo barrier is available for the Hiace ZX, as is a factory designed towing package with a tongue that can be removed to improve access to the vehicle for loading and unloading.
