Up to 5 years capped price service coverage
Service Advantage lowers the standard servicing costs to a capped price amount for up to the first five years of cover (or 60,000km, whichever happens first). Even if the standard service cost goes up during ownership, your capped price for servicing won’t budge for the first five years.
Up to 5 years WOF coverage
Two Warrant of Fitness (WOF) inspections are included in the Service Advantage package. These can be claimed, at an Authorised Toyota Store or Service Agent, at the 3rd and 4th year from your vehicle’s first registration date.
Up to 5 years warranty
You can get a 2 year or 50,000km* extension to the New Vehicle 3 year warranty if you service your Toyota at an Authorised Toyota Store or Service Agent. This adds up to a 5 year or 150,000km warranty (*whichever happens first under normal operating conditions).
Up to 5 years Roadside Assistance
Keep up your scheduled servicing at an Authorised Toyota Store or Service Agent, and you’re covered for up to 5 years of AA Roadside Assistance. Handy for breakdowns, flat tyres or when you lock your keys out the car – just call the Automobile Association (AA) to get you and your car back on the road.
Maximising your resale value
A good service record gives the next owner confidence and adds to the car’s value. The balance of your Service Advantage package is fully transferable, so if you decide to sell your car, this gives added value.

Toyota Service Advantage FAQs
Service Advantage is a maintenance package that comes with most new Toyota vehicles sold in New Zealand. It is designed to help you look after your vehicle and keep it safe and reliable
- Up to five years/60,000km of capped price servicing. (4x Capped Price Services, Within 68,000km/56 months)
- Up to five years of Roadside Assistance.
- Up to five years of WOF coverage (2x WOF Inspections, Within 50 months)
- Up to five years/150,000km of warranty through the Platinum Warranty extension If service requirements are meets).
It’s the maximum price you will pay for the first four services. This price is set when the vehicle is purchased and doesn’t change for the life of the Service Advantage contract
The Platinum Warranty extension is an extension to the Manufacturer's Warranty from 100,000km to 150,000km, or three years to five years, whichever comes first.
Certificate of Fitness, Tyres, updates to navigational maps, any additional items not included in the Recommended Service Schedule for your vehicle.
You should service your vehicle every 12 months or 15,000km, whichever occurs first. Some vehicles require more than this. Speak to your Toyota store for your specific vehicle requirements.
No. Our dealers will endeavour to send you a service reminder based on a time period since your last service however ultimately it is the driver's responsibility to book their vehicle in for a service when it is due.
Yes, you can prepay one or all remaining capped prices at the time of vehicle purchase or any time after this until the service is due.
To validate the extension of the Roadside Assistance and Platinum Warranty, yes, you have to service with an Authorised Toyota Store or Service Agent.
Service Advantage transfers with the vehicle to the new owner. If you have prepaid any services, you can have them refunded before the change of ownership.

You get up to 2000km or two months on either side of the recommended service interval to claim your service and still be eligible for an extended platinum warranty.
