Scotty has worked on and off through most departments within his family business and enjoys working with such a strong brand that has a great reputation for quality. It aligns well with his direction for the company in providing exceptional and personalised service to our customers. He especially enjoys living and working in Marlborough with all the region has to offer in the outdoors.
Mike Chapman
Branch Manager
Mike has been involved in the motor industry since 1984. He has spent many years with Toyota from a Technician to Vehicle Sales through to Branch Management.
Mike Keen
Vehicle Sales Manager
Mike has been in the Motor Industry since 1985. He was Sales Manager at our Blenheim Branch and brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to our region.
Robin Illingworth

Has been with Rangiora Toyota since 1978 and has seen many vehicle model changes. When not a work he enjoys farming, boating, cycling, walking and tramping.

Ben joined us in July 2017 bringing with him 3 years worth of experience with Toyota and a wealth of knowledge. Ben has a genuine interest in all things automotive.

Jarrod has been involved in the motor industry for 6 years and loves everything automobiles. Outside of work Jarrod enjoys playing/watching golf, basketball, rugby and any other sport. He looks forward to providing a great service to you

James has been in sales for many years. He developed a love of cars since he bought himself a Nissan Silva in 1996. Being a people and car person, a career in automotive sales made sense and he joined the industry in 2017.

Keri has been in the motor industry since 2010 and enjoys working with such a strong well-known brand. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his family, playing rugby league & golf.
Akeru Fujihara
Technician
Akeru is originally from Japan and from 1989 he has worked for Toyota Dealerships within Japan and New Zealand. When not working Akeru enjoys fly fishing and making traditional Japanese wooden masks.
Andrew McLeod
Technician
Andrew has been in the motor industry since 1979. He was north island born and breed and made his way to the south island in 2013. In his spare time he enjoys fishing, getting out on the motorbike and making various items.
Craig Titheridge
Technician
Craig has over 30 years as a qualified mechanic including many years with the Toyota franchise. Craig is the deputy team leader for the Red Cross Disaster Welfare support team. In his spare time, he enjoys hunting, fishing and motor racing.
Keri Wilson
Service Manager
Keri has been in the motor industry since 2010 and enjoys working with such a strong well-known brand. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his family, playing rugby league & golf.
Hayley Demmocks
Groomer
Hayley has been a Groomer with Rangiora & Kaiapoi Toyota for over 10 years and enjoys riding motorbikes, spending time on her 4ha farm, animals and going to the gym.

Mike brings 10 years of finance experience to Rangiora and Kaiapoi Toyota and is passionate about the motor industry. When not working he enjoys detailing his cars and spending time with his family.
Andy Wilson
Group General Manager Used Vehicles
Andy has a tremendous amount of experience in the Motor Industry beginning in the summer of 1990! After relinquishing the reigns of Branch Manager at South Canterbury Toyota in August 2018 he has taken on the well-deserved challenge of Group General Manager for Used Vehicles for the McDermid Group. This entails managing the used vehicle inventory for Blenheim, Rangiora, Kaiapoi, Ashburton and Timaru branches. Andy and his wife Helen have a very full social life which includes spending a great deal of time with their four grandchildren.
Talei Dickson
McDermid Group Admin Manager
Originally from a hospitality background Talei moved to South Canterbury in 1996 from Wellington. She had a brief stint at Lake Tekapo before joining our team as our Business Manager. She then moved into admin in 2004. In 2015 Talei became our Group Admin Manager when Rangiora & Ashburton Toyota joined our group of South Canterbury & Blenheim Toyota. In her spare time Talei doesn’t enjoy running but Chris Ward & Sharon Wood make her do it from time to time. She does enjoy water and snow skiing, sewing and spending time with her daughter.
Chris Ward

Chris was born and raised in Timaru before heading on a rather extended (12 year) OE. After seeing most of the 'other side of the world' Chris returned to Timaru in 2006 and joined our team 3 days later! Chris’s background before joining South Canterbury Toyota was mainly in the banking sector. She enjoys skiing, running, kayaking and spending time with her daughters.
Paul Harford
Business Analyst
Paul joined the team mid 2017, has been in the Motor Industry for 15 years and comes from a background in Finance. Living in Kaiapoi he and his family enjoy Waimak Football, camping, boating and the outdoors. He also has an expensive and time consuming passion for classic cars.
Samantha Christie
HR and Payroll
Born and bred in Ashburton, Samantha started with us in 2015 as a member of the Ashburton admin department. Samantha took a couple of years to start her own wee family but remained a familiar face as over the years she has covered for staff on annual and parental leave. In her spare time, she likes to go hunting and explore new places with her family.
Sarah Campbell
CRM
Sarah was in the motor industry since 2014 as a Qualified Refinisher who then became a fulltime mother for 2years before joining us in January 2023. Sarah’s family consists of 2 kids, 2 dogs and her partner Gowan. She enjoys hosting events for friends and family, getting the family out for walks and their yearly camping trip to muscle car madness!

Laura has been in the motor industry for 11 years in different service based roles. She loves gardening, spending time with her kids and getting lost in the bush.
