Craig Martin
Branch Manager
With 23 years’ experience working in the Rutherford & Bond Toyota team, I am proud to be Branch Manager of our Porirua and Kapiti branches. The people I have met and worked with over my time here are what make every day great. I have made many lifelong friendships through working for R&B. In my spare time you will generally find me keeping active. I play squash, assist with coaching the Mana Special Olympic Football team and I enjoy taking out my old Toyota Hilux 4WD to explore some of our amazing off the beaten track spots.
Daniel Montgomery
Kapiti Team Leader
I joined the Rutherford & Bond Toyota team as an Apprentice Technician in 2003. I have been presented with many opportunities to explore many different roles and am now Team Leader out here in Kapiti. I enjoy my job because it is so diverse, no two days are the same. In my spare time I enjoy watching sport and spending time with my family.
Denise Baker
Vehicle Consultant
I began my role here for Rutherford & Bond Toyota Kapiti as a Vehicle Consultant in January 2019. I like that each day is different from the day before. I also enjoy handing over keys to our customers whether it be to a new or used vehicle, knowing that I have given superb customer service. Repeat business is becoming very regular which shows that my customers are happy! My spare time is spent walking along the beach in Raumati with our dog Monty, watching the All Blacks – no matter what time of the morning, and catching up with friends and family.

I have been a part of the Toyota family since 2016 and later joined Rutherford & Bond Toyota Kapiti as a Business Manager and Vehicle Consultant in 2020. We have a great team out here. Outside of the office I enjoy spending time with family, playing sports, listening to music, and travelling.

I’ve been working at Rutherford & Bond Toyota for just over 3 years now. I’m the Warranty Advisor for the group and the Workshop Controller for the Kapiti branch. The thing I most enjoy about the industry is that there’s always a new challenge to overcome and something to learn. In my spare time I enjoy being outdoors on my mountain bike or playing music with mates.

I have worked for Toyota for over 30 years now after moving out here from the UK with my family. My time with Rutherford & Bond Toyota has been great, I have now been a part of the team here for 15 years, working with the great bunch of people out in Kapiti make each day enjoyable. In my spare time you will find me exploring the outdoors!

I joined the Rutherford and Bond Toyota Kapiti family in March 2022. I am thoroughly enjoying the team environment and enjoying meeting all the lovely customers along the way. In my spare time I enjoy going to speedway and filling my life with anything automotive including off roading in my trusty Toyota.

I have re-joined the team at Rutherford and Bond Kapiti. I originally started in 2009 and worked in the Parts and Service department for 9 years. I’m excited to be back and working in the Warranty Advisor role, which will further my knowledge and experience within the Automotive Industry. I’ve got a huge passion for fitness so in my spare time you will find me either at the gym or out and about on walks enjoying the sun.

I started with Rutherford & Bond and King Toyota in April 2021 where I was welcomed into the Customer Support team as Marketing Graduate. Day to day, we manage the communication and brand image across our five Wellington branches. I love my role here as it involves meeting new people and there are many opportunities to grow and develop. Outside of the office, I spend my time with friends, going to the beach and keeping active - whether that’s out on walks or at the gym.
