Richard Devery
Branch Manager
I have been with Toyota for 25 years and the Hutt valley plays a big part in my life. I have four children all at school in the Hutt and I am involved in numerous local sporting clubs. I am passionate about King Toyota and making sure we make it easy to do business with us, as well as the business contributing to the local community.

New Vehicle Manager
I started at King Toyota in April 2013 as a New Vehicle Cadet. I really enjoy engaging with the Hutt Valley community and try to make all our customers lives easy when it comes to anything vehicle related. The Hutt Valley is a busy environment, and we punch well above our weight out here! In my spare time, I enjoy driving and doing activities outside as much as possible.
Adam Trott
New Vehicle Consultant
I stated at King Toyota in March 2022 as Used Vehicle Groomer. My hard work was quickly discovered by the company, and I was offered a role as the Sales Cadet in Lower Hutt, which I gladly accepted. My role includes helping and learning alongside the New and Used Vehicle team whilst also catering to the needs of our customers. My favourite part about this role is getting to work with the amazing team throughout Rutherford & Bond and King Toyota and getting to meet new people every day. Outside of the office I like going to the gym, playing football, and all things cars, motorbikes, and TOYOTA.

After joining King Toyota in 2013, I've had the chance to meet and help so many people. Outside of work, I follow NRL (Wests Tigers), most codes of sport and love all things DIY. You might bump into my family and I at our local hardware, cafe or dog beach with Muttley!

I began working here in March 2023 in vehicle sales. I really enjoy interacting with Hutt Valley community and making our customers lives easier when it comes to anything vehicle related. Toyota is a well-respected brand, everyone here makes it such a fun place to work. In my spare time outside of work you will catch me with my son or outside being active.

I joined the team at King Toyota Lower Hutt in October 2016 as a Service Advisor, I then progressed to a Workshop Controller and then Service Manager in 2019. I enjoy working with our fun, close knit team in Lower Hutt and watching our staff grow into their roles. In my spare time I enjoy spending time with my children and planning my next home renovation.

I started with King Toyota Lower Hutt in August 2019. I enjoy working with all my colleagues and the Customer interaction I have. I like to talk and find out a bit about each customer and remember to continue the conversation when they return to collect their vehicle. In my spare time I enjoy spending time with my family, gardening, and baking.

I enjoy seeing the new technology that the Automotive Industry is creating and I love working alongside the friendly people in our team. I spend most of my spare time with my two miniature Schnauzers and with friends exploring Wellington.

The problem-solving aspect that comes with each enquiry is what I really enjoy about my role as no two are ever the same. In my spare time I like to read, attempt to find “my” cat and occasionally paddle board at Oriental Bay.

I joined the Parts Team at King Toyota Lower Hutt in April 2021. My role here has been amazing as I get to see all sides of the automotive industry every day! Being from the Hutt myself, I love the location of King Toyota and being able to help businesses and customers from the area I've grown up in. Before beginning here, I was already a huge fan of Toyota – from the cars both past and present to the values this company holds. In my spare time I enjoy tinkering with my own vehicles in the driveway.

I started with King Toyota in early October as a Business Manager looking after Finance, Insurance and Extra Care products. Learning all parts of this role has been a challenge, but one I’m embracing and immersing myself in. The team at King Toyota are a great bunch and no single day is ever the same. I love the atmosphere at King, and everyone strives to put a smile on our customers faces! In my free time you’ll find me at my sons’ sports or ferrying them around the Hutt Valley. Summer is my favourite time of year, getting into nature and out and about enjoying all the cool events going on in Wellington.

When I’m not at work I enjoy watching movies, spending time with friends and family and being creative whether that’s through photography, design, or makeup.

I started with Rutherford & Bond and King Toyota in April 2021 where I was welcomed into the Customer Support team as Marketing Graduate. Day to day, we manage the communication and brand image across our five Wellington branches. I love my role here as it involves meeting new people and there are many opportunities to grow and develop. Outside of the office, I spend my time with friends, going to the beach and keeping active - whether that’s out on walks or at the gym.
