Richard Devery
Branch Manager
I have been with Toyota for 25 years and the Hutt valley plays a big part in my life. I have four children all at school in the Hutt and I am involved in numerous local sporting clubs. I am passionate about King Toyota and making sure we make it easy to do business with us, as well as the business contributing to the local community.
Chris Williams
New & Used Vehicle Manager
I joined King Toyota Lower Hutt in May 2015 and have been here since, apart from a year stint in London where I also sold cars, and four months travelling South America. I re-joined the team in June 2020. In my spare time I enjoy being outdoors and riding motorbikes.
Jacob Ray
New & Used Vehicle Consultant
I started working for Toyota in June 2021 as a New Vehicle Consultant, coming from a background in sales it was a natural fit for me. The things that I enjoy the most about working for Toyota is the great crew that I get to work with and the fact that I get to engage with and help customers every day. Working in a customer facing role has always appealed to me as I enjoy the day-to-day customer interaction and the challenging aspect of sales. Outside of work my time is mostly spent playing guitar and working on my house, but on the occasion, I like to catch up with old friends.

Parts & Service Manager
I started working for King Toyota Upper Hutt as Parts & Service Manager. I enjoy working in our Upper Hutt branch as we have a great bunch of people here. It has gone full circle for me as I started with King Toyota in January 1990 and have now come back 30 years later as I have a passion for the automotive industry. In my spare time I ref rugby and have started doing multisport / adventure races. I also enjoy doing landscaping around my house.

Service & Parts Advisor
I begun my role here at King Toyota Upper Hutt as Service & Parts Advisor back in July 2020. Coming to work every day is enjoyable as we have an awesome team out here who all have a common goal – to look after our customers. In my spare time you will find me playing the drums or guitar and spending time with friends and family.

I joined the Rutherford & Bond Toyota family in 2011 with a passion for motorsport and the motor industry. I enjoy the challenges the industry brings, and I am always looking forward to what’s next. In my spare time you will find me renovating our house and training for Rock ‘n’ Roll dance competitions.

I started with Rutherford & Bond Toyota in the middle of May 2022. I love the variety of my role and the wonderful, diverse, and interesting people I work alongside. When I’m not playing golf, riding my horse or at the gym, you’ll find me in the kitchen baking or cooking!

I became part of the Customer Support team at Rutherford & Bond Toyota in September 2021. I love the great team environment and that we are presented with many opportunities to learn new skills. When I’m not at work I enjoy watching movies, spending time with friends and family and being creative whether that’s through photography, design, or makeup.
Phoebe McCoy
Marketing Manager
I started with Rutherford & Bond and King Toyota in April 2021 where I was welcomed into the Customer Support team as Marketing Graduate. Day to day, we manage the communication and brand image across our five Wellington branches. I love my role here as it involves meeting new people and there are many opportunities to grow and develop. Outside of the office, I spend my time with friends, going to the beach and keeping active - whether that’s out on walks or at the gym.
