I have been a member of the Rutherford & Bond Toyota Team since 2005. After more than 15 years in the automotive industry, I still love seeing a happy customer drive away in their new car. I am proud to work for a respected & trusted brand, and I love working with such a great team and great customers. Outside the office, I enjoy keeping busy outdoors on the golf course or cycling.

Fleet Account Manager
I returned in 2019 to take up the role of Fleet Manager for Rutherford and Bond Toyota. I work in the New Vehicle department helping with the requirements of fleet and business customers. We have a cool team of people across the branch. No day is the same and it is great seeing how excited customers are when they collect their new vehicles. Working in an industry with evolving technologies is also fun. I have two young children so that keeps me busy! I enjoy catching up with friends & family and love any form of Motorsport.

I started at Rutherford and Bond and King Toyota in November 2022 as Sales Cadet. I enjoy meeting customers and helping them find their next new car. Outside of the office, I enjoy a bit of gaming and Netflix!
Kyle Lane
Service Manager
I have worked for Rutherford & Bond Toyota for 20 years now. Starting off in the Workshop in Wellington, I later moved to a Service Manager position at our Porirua branch and now I am back in Wellington where I have been Service Manager for the last 5 years. I love the industry as no day is the same and there is always something new and exciting to learn. On top of that we have a top-notch group of people working here. After a long career in Motorsport, I am now enjoying life a little slower, working around home and trying to keep up with my daughters, Gemma, and Nina.

Parts Manager
I have been with the Rutherford & Bond Toyota team since day one. I manage the Wellington Parts Department, one of the finest parts operations in the country. It is cliché; however, it is the people that I enjoy most about my job. I work alongside some very clever and interesting people; we have a great blend here at Rutherford & Bond. Outside of work, I am a Football mad Everton supporter and have an interest in local club football, apart from that I enjoy my weekends with my wife, family, oh and the dog.

I have been with the Parts & Accessories team at Rutherford & Bond Toyota Wellington since 2017. I have a passion for cars, and I bring this enthusiasm to my day-to-day tasks. I love the customers I work with and the fast-paced life of the Parts Department! In my weekends, you’ll find me on a soccer pitch or playing beach volleyball around the bays!

I joined the Rutherford & Bond Toyota team as a Vehicle Groomer back in January 2022, I am now working alongside the Parts & Accessories team as a Parts Consultant. This opportunity has given me the chance to learn a lot about the automotive industry and I am enjoying learning about all things parts. I am fortunate to be working alongside great teams and people on a daily basis. In my spare time I like to play music with my band and go for walks around the city.

I joined the Rutherford & Bond Team in June 2022 as a Parts Advisor. I help to serve Wellington’s demand for Genuine Toyota Parts and Products. I enjoy the team atmosphere and excellent work ethic here at Rutherford & Bond Toyota. I spend my spare time fixing, modifying, and collecting classic vehicles, mostly Toyotas!

In my spare time you will find me renovating our house and training for Rock ‘n’ Roll dance competitions.

I started with Rutherford & Bond and King Toyota in April 2021 where I was welcomed into the Customer Support team as Marketing Graduate. Day to day, we manage the communication and brand image across our five Wellington branches. I love my role here as it involves meeting new people and there are many opportunities to grow and develop. Outside of the office, I spend my time with friends, going to the beach and keeping active - whether that’s out on walks or at the gym.
