Kelly Racing V8 Supercar driver Andre Heimgartner is another current V8 driver to compete in the New Zealand Grand Prix.
Although best known for his V8 Supercar form, Heimgartner is no stranger to single seaters.
He has competed extensively in Formula Ford in the early stages of his career both here in New Zealand and Australia. From there is racing career took him across the Tasman where he has competed in the Dunlop Super 2 Championship, Porsche Carrera Cup, TCR and more recently a number of seasons in the Supercars Championship.
