A big chance for Penrose who missed out on a one-off New Zealand GP drive last season funded by series sponsor Castrol to fly the flag for them as their ambassador. Covid restrictions put paid to that but he gets a well-deserved second chance and it's a chance worth waiting for as he will compete through the entire season.
Confident on track and a sponsor's dream off it, Penrose has been back in Formula Ford racing in some of the UK's iconic races but that's pretty much the only track time he has to his credit over the last year. Fast enough to win races and if he can be quick from the word go, will be a factor everywhere. Elder statesman in this championship at just 27.
